Founder / Executive Director
Dr. Labinot Hajdari is the founder and Executive Director of Kosovo International Summer Academy. He is also co–founder and Director of the Kosovo Center of Diplomacy. Dr. Hajdari is a lecturer at the Collegium Civitas, Poland, and at the International Business College Mitrovica, Kosovo. Labinot is a Doctor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Administration from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw, Poland. His Ph.D. dissertation was on "Public Diplomacy of Small States: the case of Kosovo". He was awarded a Scholarship for Ph.D. studies, from International Visegrad Fund (2017-2019). Dr. Hajdari is a member of the Editorial Board of a polish academic journal "Przegląd Europejski" ("European Review"), and External Reviewer of the journal "Securitologia".
He completed his Master’s studies at the South East European University in North Macedonia, where he received a Master’s degree in Diplomacy Studies (2011-2013). Labinot worked also at the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina. Previously he was the Lead Editor for Europe and Balkan region at the Czech News Agency PressEXPRESS.eu. Mr. Hajdari was also co-founder and Program Director of the Preparing Global Leaders Institute. From 2013 - 2015 he was coordinator of a regional project ‘’Build Bridges, Not Walls: The role of University in Peacebuilding’’, a regional project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, implemented by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee. In 2014, Labinot was appointed as Secretary of Local Organization of the 1st Itinerant Summer University in the Balkans “Accession to the European Union and identity of the Balkans” French-German-Balkanic’’, an international project implemented in cooperation between Franco-German University, Université Paris Ouest-Nanterre-La Défense (France), Universität Münster (Germany) and University of Prishtina, Kosovo. His main scientific fields are International Relations, Diplomacy, Public Diplomacy, Small States, Conflict management.
