This July (12 – 22) and August (10 – 20), Kosovo International Summer Academy (KSA) will organize will organize Part I and Part II of its 9th edition in Prishtina, Kosovo, with a special focus on “Peace building in post-conflict areas – Diplomacy, Leadership and Negotiations”, that will take place in Prishtina.

*Please note: Considering the global situation with Covid-19 and unexpected changes that have taken place since the first appearances of Covid-19, If we will be forced the cancel KSA2022, we will inform all KSA applicants/enrolled participants about all the changes/alternatives in the mode of implementation of KSA2022.

In case we are instructed by local authorities and based on international recommendations to cancel the edition of 2022, all KSA enrolled participants will be fully refunded their payment (minus transfer fee). Please note that KSA will NOT hold responsibility for your travel tickets in case of cancellation due to Covid-19! Therefore we strongly suggest you check the policies of flight companies before you purchase your tickets or NOT to purchase with the flight ticket at least until the end of April/beginning of May when we will make the final decision about the KSA sessions, based on the circumstances and the situation with coronavirus which we will analyze and evaluate.

COVID-19 Updates

We want to inform you that yesterday (28.05.2021), the Government of Kosovo has made several decisions regarding COVID-19 preventive measures, as a step towards easing the existing preventive measures, and we hope for a closer step towards COVID free situation soon.
There are several points that are positive for our decision regarding KSA 2021, which we want to share with you below:
[[Entrances and exits of foreign citizens from the Republic of Kosovo]]
– Foreign nationals entering the Republic of Kosovo, including those with temporary or permanent residence permits in Kosovo, coming from high-risk countries according to the official ECDC list, must have a negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19 done in the last 72 hours, based on the principle of reciprocity.
The following cases are exempt:
– Persons who have evidence of taking the COVID-19 vaccine.
– Persons with a positive serum antibody test result -IgG issued no later than thirty (30) days prior to arrival.
– Entry into the Republic of Kosovo is prohibited for persons coming from India, Brazil and South Africa.

 Wearing a mask covering the nose and mouth is mandatory, in all cases except:
– When walking only outdoors;
– While driving the vehicle alone or in a group with no more than four (4) persons;
– When running, cycling, and exercising;
– While eating or drinking

– Indoor gatherings are allowed up to fifty (50) persons (meetings, seminars, trainings) provided that the physical distance over 1.5 meters between persons is respected.
– Gatherings in open spaces are allowed up to one hundred (100) persons provided that the physical distance over 1.5 meters is respected.

28.02.2020, Kosovo International Summer Academy – Centre for Peace Studies Agreement

We are glad to announce that Kosovo International Summer Academy and the Centre for Peace Studies (CPS) at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway, have reached an agreement to develop cooperation among two Peace programs, with the purpose of exchanging experience, staff, and network.

This cooperation will be for the benefit of students of KSA and the Centre for Peace Studies.
